General Should I report a ticket?

If someone got a ticket for Littering in a midwest state, would they need to report it? It is a misdemeanor in that state.

Misdemeanors must be reported. It will not necessarily damage your likelihood of being admitted but failing to report it and have it come up on a criminal background check will hurt.

Always document anything you’ve done. I see no reason with your specific misdemeanor to have your application(s) disqualified.

Failure to report can easily be interpreted as falsifying information (ie a lie) and like that, your application is flagged for further review.
