So it took my a pretty long time to decide what I wanted to do with my life. I always wanted to be a doctor but being the first person to enter college from my family- I was extremely lost. I didn't understand anything about college, so it took me a while to get adjusted. I started off as an International Business major because that was what my High School guidance counselor thought I should do. Well long story short, it took me about 1 year and a half of college to really figure out that I wanted to go to medical school. I transferred colleges, switched majors about 3 or 4 times and finally got to where I am now. I learned that it didn't matter what I majored in as long as I completed the pre-med reqs. I am now a Biological Anthropology + Spanish major and chemistry minor. In the beginning I didn't even know I was pre-med and I was so unhappy at the college I was so I didn't really take my first few reqs seriously and didn't get the grade I know I could get if I took them over now. I hate "making excuses" but I also had a lot of bad luck and it seemed like every semester of my college education thus far I have had something terrible happen that affected my studies. Needless to say, I am not reflecting all my grades and wondering, should I retake any???? The grades I'm mostly upset about are Organic Chemistry and Physics because I actually enjoyed those classes and really knew the material, but I didn't have time to study so my grades are pretty much all on what I could remember off the top of my head 🙁
