Hi,

I got a C in Ochem 2, C in Intro Bio 2 and a C in bio lab last quarter. These were my first Cs ever in undergrad and I was undergoing some issues for most of the quarter which slightly impaired my performance, but Ochem 2 really wrecked me and my other finals as I had a crappy professor and didn't know what to study really.

Is it a good idea to retake my intro bio course for next year? My university will replace that grade with whatever grade I get on my retake without averaging out the two grades, so I can hopefully get an A then in the summer. I am not considering retaking Ochem as it just required too much of my time.

My GPA fell from mid 3.7 to about 3.5 in the process, and I am currently a sophomore at my school.

If you retake any class, both grades will show up on your AMCAS, regardless of your school's grade-replacement policy. DO applications will replace the older grade with the more recent grade. Should you retake it? It depends on how low your science GPA is. Try to get A's from here on out.
