should i retake the course?

guys please help me
i have to make a decision as soon as possible.
i am supposed to be graduating in about 2 weeks.
however i got a D in one of my science classes
once i graduate, i cant retake this class to improve my gpa
should i put off my graduation until this summer and retake this course?
on a farther note, my gpa is horrible
my gpa is 2.8
i havent take the dat yet
would i have any chance of getting into any dental schools?
should i look into post bac programs?
what should i do??
please help me!

What class did you get a D in? Is it a required class?

A 2.8 is going to hold you back.... You should look in to a post bac or a masters program.

Also, regarding the class you got a D in.... AADSAS will still count the D when calculating your GPA...

I agree. Is the science class a dental school prereq? Because then even if you look into a post bac or masters it's my understanding that you can't have anything below a C in a prereq so you'd basically have to retake...
