I am applying this summer with a 3.7 overall and science gpa. My DAT is

Reading 17
Pat 18
Math 18
Chem 20
Orgo 21
Bio 18
TS 19
AA 19

Should try retaking the dat before I submit my app or just go for it with Tons of schools?

Your GPA is pretty good but your DAT is only average (reading score is a little low). I think if you apply for a lot of schools (15+), you'll be okay (assuming your EC activities are good). Best of luck.

*Of course, if you feel you can do better on the DAT, then you should retake 🙂

^ what he said. same thought. wish you the best of luck

Well, your gpa is above average and your dat is average, so I would say go for it and apply to at least 10 schools. My only concern is that some schools do have minimum requirements for some or all sections of the DAT. Just do some research and make sure you do not apply to those.

Good luck!🙂

You're fine. Don't retake it, one low score but the rest seem on par with averages. Apply broadly (and to schools without strict cutoffs) and you should land somewhere assuming extra curriculars are on point.

Just a quick correction 19 is no longer the average. 20 is.

OP, I think you're fine with your scores. But like Niko said above retake it if you feel you can do better. Also it wouldn't hurt to call some schools and see what they think about your scores. Though I believe I've already said this to you somewhere else. Anyways good luck to you Yolo/eastcoast24/[insert your other names here].

Thanks for your help but I have talked to you before?
