So I took the DAT yesterday. My scores were AA: 23 TS: 24 Bio:26 Orgo: 24 Chem: 24 RC: 22 QR: 19 and PAT: 17. I know I scored really well overall but the PAT score frightens me even tho the cut off for PAT is anything lower than 17 for most of the schools I'm considering. I have a 3.3 GPA (same in science), but I go to a pretty difficult school, I have over 150 hours of shadowing and will be working as a dental assistant in my final year in college. Any feedback is really appreciated!

Overall I think those are nice enough scores/ there is a 3 month delay before you can retake the dat = just trust the process. I’m sure you’ll be fine.

If you want to think about it in a statistically - you scored in the top 2% of test takers. 50% of applicants matriculate into DS.

If you want to take everything into account (GPA/EC/etc) make a WAMC thread.

You’re fine with a 17 PAT. This is one of the least valued subjects on the DAT by adcoms. Based on what you’re telling me, you’ll be fine this cycle as long as you submit your app asap.
