I'm so happy I found all these postings. I'm 32 years, undergrad gpa 2.75. Undergrad was rough, I was abandoned by my family and due to international status at the time could not work and was paying 5X more than in state students. mcat scores:17,24. Currently in grad school with a 3.6 gpa. I'm wondering if I should retake the mcat or just apply with what I got. Any suggestion?

Definitely retake, Toph. You've come too far to half-ass it now. Shoot for the 29-32 range at minimum before you gamble on applying. Exam crackers, TBR, Lots of practice exams. Good luck.

For MD school, your MCAT scores are not competitive and would lead to autorejection.

For DO schools, there are some that will take the newest score, but you'll need to apply broadly, especially to the newest schools. I cannot recommend LUCOM. Skip the Touros and CCOM.

Suggest a retake on the MCAT, but you'll need to fix your deficits first.

Note that your grad school GPA has no impact on your undergrad GPA. You may have some GPA repair to do as well before you can think about retaking and applying?

Agree.

OP, your stats are significantly below average for all US medical schools. If you're serious about going to medical school, you should definitely do some GPA repair (repeat any classes you got a C or lower in) as well as retaking the MCAT. Applying to med school with an UG GPA below 3.0 is a nonstarter unless you have some recent solid postbac performance to make up for that.

(Note: I'm assuming your grad program is not an SMP. If it's an SMP that you're doing, then you can disregard the advice to retake UG classes.)
