Hi all,

I got a 32 on my MCAT that I took in January (V:9, PS:12, BS:11)
I was wondering if it is worth taking the new 2015 mcat (I haven't taken biochemistry yet).

Thanks!

No. (also, this website has a lot of threads like that, the only exception would be if your practice scores significantly differed from your actual score)

Provided you have a solid undergrad gpa this is a decent score. Do not retake

So help me, if you retake that perfectly fine MCAT, I'm going to reach through the electrons and smack you upside the head!

Thanks everyone! I wasn't planning on retaking but my parents are pressuring me to

Parents are even more ignorant about this process than pre-meds! get them SDN accounts and we'll enlighten them.

This same thing happened to me! But luckily I refused and ended up at my top choice. My rents would also never believe goro is who he says he is. Just download an MSAR and explain what the score means and the likelihood of significantly improving.
