I apologize in advance for my excess amount of topics but I couldn't seem to find an answer anywhere 🙁

I am currently taking trigonometry at my community college and I might get a D in the class. This course is not a prerequisite for my major nor is it a prerequisite for any dental schools(I think). I thought it was a prerequisite for non-calc based physics but it turns out I was wrong.

If I were to receive a D, should I retake it or should I just move on and finish up the rest of my general education? As far as my grades go, I am averaging A's and B's in most, if not all of my classes.

-Withdraw deadline is long gone! Thanks!

Try your best to get a C. If you get below that you might need to retake for some schools

DONT retake the class, ITS NOT A PRE-REQ but I would take a calculus class and do well i it to show that u are component in math and can use critical thinking and analytical skills to solve problems.

Thanks for the responses guys! I actually don't plan on moving forward into any other math. I plan on just working on my BCP, is this a smart idea or would retaking trig be necessary to boost my chances into getting into dental school?

I had a similar situation. I did re-take one class I got a C in. Turned out to be really easy the second time around and I got an A. Keep in mind if you retake a class you just get the average. You have to report both. So and A and a C is a B. So the question is can you get an A the second time around? If you get a D this time and only get a B next time that equals a C. I'd say a C isn't worth retaking a class. Even a B, really. Look, I did it and while I don't regret it I don't recommend it.
