Hi everyone I'm applying this cycle, and had some exciting developments that I definitely wanted my school to know about. I am a first author on a research project that I've played a major role in for the last 3 years, and I did indicate this on my AMCAS primaries. The update is that I've submitted major revisions with positive feedback from the editor in chief of the publishing journal, and my PI's are very optimistic about it being published. Should I send an update letter on this now, or wait till its fully published? I don't know what the editorial timeline of this journal is and don't want to wait too long to submit an update when it won't benefit me much. Ideally I'd like to show that I did follow through and submit the project for publication, as well as a continued interest in the topic of research. I'd appreciate any feedback or advice, thanks!
