Should I still go to my interviews, eventhough I'm accepted by my first choice?

Hi guys,

I'm already accepted to my the school that was first choice. However, I have one interview left next week. Should still go to that interview or just cancel it? Am I missing something by not going to that interview?

Going to your other interview does give you a chance to see another school that you clearly had some interest in, but if you've totally made up your mind and there is no possibility for change, then missing it won't make a difference.

I cancelled all mine, if you have #1 and #2 choices already then there is no need

Don't take the time! Save as much money as you possibly can from this point on until you graduate cause you'll need it.

You should go and do something real funny. Maybe wear one of those t-shirts w/ a tuxedo print on it, don't shave for a week, and light up a cigarette during the tour. You'd be famous. If you come back there 4 yrs later for a specialty, just laugh about it and tell them you performing important research for a social experiment.

lol....i cancelled all mine...if you think you are still interested in the school and going there would make you change your mind about what school to attend, then yes, if no....why bother?

I cancelled all mine as well. I was accepted at one of my two top choices and now i am just waiting to hear back from the other one (I already did the interview) 😀

thanks everyone, I'm gonna call them tomorrow and cancel it. I can really use the $500 ticket to go somewhere else. I don't wanna to leave hot Arizona and go to freezing Buffalo for an interview I know I'm not interested.

BTW, I got their call when I was interviewing at USC. After I got their message, I was just being lazzy and ate a lot of sandwiches to get my $80 application fee back. Haha..

Why sit through the same boring "come to our school cause we're soooo much better than every other school" presentation? And then have to answer those ridiculous questions... I'll be happy to not attend an interview for another 4 years, thank you very much.

You got into your first choice, man, it'll probably take a lot to change your mind. If it's your number 2, then go. If it's your number 5, sit back, relax, and relish your accomplishment. Preferably wiht an alcoholic beverage.

EDIT: nm, i see you already made your decision. you've made a wise choice, mah friend!
