My financial program doesn't include stipends. I used to make it work during undergrad by working at a book store. Now, with the 10x more studying, I am not sure if i should quit.
Note: the store was rather calm and I had an afternoon work-shift so I had time to study quietly, can I do it?

One more question, why does everybody forget that some of our courses at undergrad were not a piece of cake and that we worked our ass off to pass.

Nobody "forgets" what undergrad courses were like, it's just that they become sort of a joke once you see the quantity of material you are responsible for in med school. It's not substantively harder, but it just much much more. More than you can possibly learn in the amount of time you've got. You will see.
As for the work question, I would take a leave from the store until you get through a couple of exams and see what's what. Your education is more important than the couple of bucks you can earn from this kind of job. Once you know the lay of the land, if you think you can add back some work, then feel free to do so. But don't assume ahead of time that you can manage it all. Many people find they cannot take on additional responsibilities during first year. It's not an accident that most med students do not work during the med school academic year. It's often not due to laziness.
