should I submit job applications now? I need help..

I applied for pharmacy technician license few days ago..
and on the application it says it takes about 3 weeks for them to send the license by mail.
I'm not sure if I should start submitting my pharmacy tech applications now..
I'm going to apply online (target pharmacy and walgreen..)
After I submit my application, don't I have to wait a while for them to actually offer me a job?
If I have to wait for that anyway, should I just start submitting applications now?

You can apply now, but you basically mentioned the key risk: they could call you in before you have your certification in-hand. Everyone's hiring experience is different, but I walked in for an interview and walked out with some paperwork so I could start the next day.

I mention this because when pharmacies are hiring, it typically means they're short-handed and need a replacement pronto, so they might hire someone else if that person can start immediately.

I think your best bet would be to call the stores around you and ask if they are hiring. If they say yes, you might ask what they think about your certification situation and applying for the job. They might be willing to work with you.
