Should I submit OptomCAS now with low OAT scores even I'm retaking it in Dec?

I just took OAT yesterday and disappointed at my scores. My average score is 320, physics being the worst section with the score of 290. So, I'm definitely going to retake it in December since I really want to increase the chance to get into SUNY.
My question is... should I wait until I have a better OAT score to submit OptomCAS (but then my other concern raises: isn't applying late going to decrease the chance?) or just submit it with this score and retake it anyway? I don't know how the application process works. Are they going to get my better score and take that into account later? Can someone answer my question? Thanks.

i was gonna say apply anyway, but I think you should apply to your backups now, and indicate you're going to take the test in decemeber. but dont complete suny because sometimes with low scores they will outright reject you. you can add on suny later in DEC when u raise ur scores
