Hi all.

So I am in my gap year and decided to take anatomy and physiology 1 during the first semester. I ended up getting an A-. I really don't want to take the course 2nd semester bc the class was so expensive and I don't think I can afford it regardless of the fact that I work. My family is in a financial hole with my father's medical bill after his death. I'll be applying this June for dental school. I don't know what to do. I'll surely take it next year but right now I just don't think I can afford it. I regret taking the class and wish I would've just chosen a one semester class. Trust me I'm beating myself up about it.

I just don't want dental schools to think I'm a quitter.

Any advice?

Don't bother taking it, especially if it's going to be a financial burden . You've already taken A&P 1 and did quite well in it.
They won't think you're a quitter.
Sorry for your loss.

No one is going to think you're a quitter. I'd save the money and put it towards applying.

Save your money for now. No need to take it. Even the schools that require A&P they are okay with just part I. If you get time and money take it before you start dental school cause I heard that it'll be useful during D1
Sorry for your loss
