we don't know which schools are "in state" if you don't tell us where you live

oops
my apologies
#nofocus

are your LORs going to be good, along with your PS?

Of course

lol
awesome

your GPA is above that of the average matriculant
but DAT is below
you can rest on your DAT score if you are willing to apply to the Midwest privates, but if you are aiming at THE Ohio State University, you probably want to look at their average stats and talk to someone at their admissions office to see if you should retake

I would presume you have been in contact with Ohio State because your chances are better with them. Your DAT scores are acceptable though a shade under average (20s across the board). Ohio State also explicitly notes how they want to see a breakdown of shadowing hours and coursework required and preferred. You should have attended at least one of their ASDA Open Houses, if not also attend the state dental association conference in Columbus. That said, you're probably okay if you submit early and are very responsive to their communications.
