I don't know whether I should take the PCAT twice. I am applying next year, but I am very worried about the process, so should I take it next year in October, and then in January? Or should I only take it once? Some people say you should only take it once.

I think you should certainly try to take it only once. Who wants to study and have to pay the fees twice? However, many people retake the test to get a better score. If you are applying next year for 2009, I would recommend taking it in June and August, or August and October. October/January is a bit late and some (many?) schools will not take January scores into consideration for the next fall's admissions.

Definitely take it in June if you can. The earlier the better, especially if you want to apply to school's with a rolling admissions process. Also, if you do great the first time, no worries! If not, you have time to take the August PCAT or October even if necessary.

When thinking about the application process remember that the earlier you complete everything the better.

Take it in June, then you will have time to see your results before you sign up again for October. January is too late, and if you do August/October you can't really wait for August scores to decide whether or not to sign up.
