My current schedule is as follows for next semester:
Precalculus
Human Physiology
General Chemistry II
Gen Ed course (a 4 hour class, meets once-per-week from 4 PM to 8 PM).
Total: 16 credit hours
This schedule seems doable right? I plan on aiming for all A's once again. I currently do not work so that's an extra plus. I have a 3.94 GPA, but I have mostly taken 12 credit hours/semester due to financial issues. I don't want to make 12 credits/semester a habit because Adcoms probably view this unfavorably (especially if you don't work like me!) and it makes me feel self-conscious about my application especially since reading how many people on SDN have stellar GPA's along with 18+ credit hours/semester on top of volunteering, etc.
The only issue I find with this schedule is that my Monday classes have Chemistry lecture, physiology lecture, and the gen ed lecture all meet the same day. Physiology lecture: 12:00 PM to 1:20 PM. General Chemistry Lecture 2:00 PM to 3:50 PM and the Gen Ed course is from 4:00 PM to 7:50 PM. It's about 30 minute ride home. The following day I got the precalculus and chemistry lab, which isn't so bad at all obviously but I am wondering if any of you would consider taking a schedule like this or am I just overreacting?
Lastly, I had the Physiology lab originally scheduled on Tuesday with a great Prof. I've had him before and I'd love to have him again, but I switched that lab to a Friday lab because everything was too crushed in with the schedule I have currently, especially on the Monday with the four hour class. The general chemistry labs only meet on Monday and Tuesday, so if I put the good prof on Tuesday I would have to switch the general chem lab on Monday with all those other classes. Now since I switched it to Friday, it doesn't have a professor listed so I don't know who I am getting :/ But the plus is everything is so spaced out.
Just want some advice. Do you guys think I am doing the right thing?
Thanks!
