Hey so I’m coming in with a good amount of AP Credit and was wondering if you guys recommend I use any of it.
I will be an incoming freshman Bio major and will have AP credit in Statistics, Calculus 1, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Psychology, US History, European History.

The env science, psychology, and history credits should be more than okay. I'd hesitate on the science/math credits given that some schools (usually higher tier) prefer that all of these basic science courses are taken at a collegiate level. That being said, I think the overwhelming majority is fine with basics covered by AP, but highly stress that you need to take upper level courses of all the sciences you cover with AP credit to be anywhere near competitive. So, to your discretion; maybe take a look at the top 5 schools you're currently interested in to get an idea of what those schools prefer.

I'd hedge that as a Bio major, you're probably safe covering your basic Bio with AP credits as you'll inevitably be taking tons of upper level course Bios that could fulfill that "higher science" strong recommendation. The other sciences.. might be too risky given that usually Bio majors only have to take a year of each, other science.. though considering these credits are probably worth like >30-40 credits, you could also supplement the basic other sciences with higher levels.. just seems easier though to take the basic ones. Less risk to the ol' GPA.
