Hello! I am taking the MCAT on Friday, and the highest I've ever scored was a 506 (127/126/125/128) [This was also the last score I got]. I have been consistent for the past 3 weeks in between a 505 and 506 with my CARS Section usually at a 128. I took the mcat previously and got a 499 (I didn't know that schools saw the attempt so I submitted anyways).

I have a 3.0 sGPA and 3.5cGPA and I'm going to be in a postbacc this coming year to get my science GPA up. Should I take the 506 or void it and do better?

Please let me know.

Can you not just cancel the test? If you don't feel ready that's what I'd do. the MCAT is not an exam you want to take multiple times.

Are you saying you just received a score of 506?

You need to be careful with voiding as you only have so many times you can test.

If I were in your shoes, I would not void regardless of whether it’s a 506 or you haven’t received your score yet. A 506 with your current stats would lead to an acceptance at a DO school if your ECs are decent.

Go do crush your post-bacc, retake the MCAT (if needed), and move on.
