So I got an IV from specialty A at Program X. I also applied to specialty B at Program X but still haven't heard anything from them. I have my IV for specialty A coming up in a few days. Just want to know if I should withdraw from specialty B? so that during the IV it doesn't come up that I also applied for specialty B at their institution. Or will withdrawing from specialty B make a red light go off on their computers and further make the PC/PD look into why I'm withdrawing and try to see if I applied to other specialties at their program and screw me over for that?
I know it sounds like I over thought this scenario but just want to be on the safe side. For the record I probably will not go to specialty B IV if I get one because I'm too scared of getting caught but just want to keep my options open at this time. Also they have different PC's and PD's for both specialties.
