Here is my situation..

I am taking 4 courses right now and a current personal situation (personal enough not to elaborate on the specifics on SDN or to adcomms) has made me consider withdrawing from all of my courses for the semester to prevent my GPA from being adversely affected.

I plan on transferring to my home state university next semester after attending an out of state university for the past 3 semesters.

My current GPA is just above 3.6

My question is whether or not a complete withdrawl from classes for the semester is a good or bad idea. If I do not withdraw, I will likely finish the semester with a few Cs (or worse) and no As. All I can say about the reasoning behind my struggles this semester involve some sole searching about my future and what I want to do with my life. Will adcomms look down on the fact that I have been unsure about my future to the point of taking a semester off just to think/take a break? I dont want to ruin my chances of going to med school just because I am having second thoughts.

Withdraw.

Get your head together before reentering school, wherever that may be.
