So today at my orientation, i meet a career counselor and i told her about my plan to become a dentist. But she advice me to got to UC and she told me there's two dental school are UC and 6 for medical. But when i ask my pre-health adviser he told, don't worry the counselor don't know anything about the acceptance rate for dental school. So should i worry or anything?

Why do you keep asking the same question hoping for a different response?

1. Your pre-health advisor is correct.

2. If going to a CSU has you feeling that way, then maybe you should go to a UC for your own peace of mind.

3.As stated in all of your other threads, attending a CSU will not hurt your chances.

And to think, when I was a freshman all I was concerned about was whether or not my fake ID would work.

i would share with you my experience my counselor is so stupid too but despite this fact two students this year in my college will attend medical school she has a master to give you some facts or advice but there's others facts for dental school admission. And if you still an INCOMING FRESHMAN and haven't been a freshman yet and hate that much your college and know that you will not be able to attend a dental school i would recommend to drop from you college as you hate it and don't like and still haven't even take any classes there. So you will never be happy or get a high GPA!!!

Mine did not work. I blame obama.

Habiba: I would not take everything/everyone seriously or ignore everything. You need to know how to filter the air, and you'll learn how to filter in college. If you are so concerned about acceptance, look for acceptance statistics online. I think there are few sheets here in SDN. Look them up instead of listening to random person.
