Okay so if it has been a while since they received your application, and you still haven't heard from a school , do you think that you should call them, or e-mail them, or even send them a letter saying that u are super interested and would like an interview with them?

I heard some ppl doing this for medical schools and it worked. I am desperate!!! I really want that letter in mail.

i'd call, and think it helps put a face (or i guess voice) to your app.

should you say "hey I am so and so, and I really would like to schedule an interview with your school?" -- you think that is too ... umm ...straight forward?

well i wouldn't say i want to schedule an interview (pretty bold, ain't it)...i would say something like i'm really interested in your school (if you really are), and just make sure everything is going smoothly with your app in review.

dont bug them too much, though. ive been told several times by aadsas reps that dental schools dont like to be contacted every now and then.
