Here's my story. I am a senior is high school with 39 college credits. I will have completed some requirements such as Chem I and II, Gen. Psych, A&P, and College Algebra and Trig. I have also taken some gravy classes such as Public Speaking and College Writing I and II. I plan to go to the U of M-TC this fall and major in Bio but in order to do so I need the bs prereqs like history and a foreign language ect.

My plan: Im planning on taking about 6-9 credits this summer to meet some of the requirements for my major. This will allow me to take my science classes without having to worry about wasting time with a literature class ect.

Also, I plan on shadowing a dentist right across from the CC that I go to. I want to shadow as much as possible so I don't need to worry about it later on. I also no the importance of volunteering so I will do that as much as possible.

My Question: Am I moving way too fast? I know I can handle it but will admissions frown upon this? Also, about how many hours would you recommend that I shadow this summer?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

No, it's more impressive to say the least. Have you made sure that U of M accepts your CC credits for their bio degree? Just find your way above 100+ hrs for shadowing before you apply to DS.
