I am so sick of these *****s that keep posting on here "what are my chances." People that make these posts should be shot. They are annoying and do absolutely no good except to allow other *****s to coddle them, and say stupid things like "don't give up now, you can do it" or "hang in there champ I'm sure you will get accepted."

QUIT POSTING STUPID THINGS ON SDN

If you ask for my opinion I will tell you that you don't have a chance, to give up now and go apply at McDonalds's where they can hold your hand all day long.

From now on, if you ask this stupid, annoying question, the answer is

NO YOU DON'T HAVE A CHANCE YOU DUMB MOTHER F****** *****
 
They may be annoying but ignoring the post is a better route than getting a coronary over it.

Must be stressful reading SDN, but I really like McDonalds's.

Wow, calm down...even if people are posting things like this just to be comforted, what is so terrible about that? Everyone here understands how tough/stressful a process all this is, and some people just need more encouragement than others. Don't waste your time on the forums if you can't contribute something meaningful.
 
What's funny is whenever we get a disgruntled SDNer who starts a thread like this, everyone disagrees and the SDNer shrinks. He/she usually all of sudden notices how pathetic their behavior was, backs off, and avoids posting another thread. :laugh:

Word of advice: Whenever you feel so angry. Type something out. Walk away from your computer and get a drink of water. Come back, and just erase/delete the message. That should have cured your anger.

Another thought: It kind of worries me that there are pre-dents (future dentist) on here that have a short temper, are judgmental and intolerant. This worries me because such unstable behavior is not in the best interest of a patient. The way people act online, and in these threads, says a lot about someone’s character and integrity. If only ADCOMS get complete access to these thread and can see what their applicants are really like.🙁

I think, you are right about "future Dentist". Do you remember that video that how a dentist involved in street fight because somebody blocked his way to the parking 😀
 
You never know what will happen next!! They still have chance, even is 0.5% opportunity....u can never say that u will not make it! Why make people sad if u can give them hope?

That's fo'sho... I would hate to have a doc or dentist work on me with that kinda temper.... Take a vacation or something to ease a little of your tension. Hope you don't act like this with your patients in the future.
 
I am constantly reminded how bad As$s$ Doc is and i hope I never get on his bad side!

now what i find funny about the whole situation is that fact that people will never stop posting those types of threads...why? well, every year there will be an application cycle, every year new people will discover this web site, and every year the old "what are my chances threads" are pushed to the bottom (and yes, even the ones that complain about how often people post them)...

so with that being said, it is inevitable that there will always be someone that either A) has low self esteem and needs "encourgement" with a 3.8 GPA and 22 DAT..B) has high self esteem and just wants to gloat with a 3.8 GPA and 22 DAT..C) has average stats in which everyone will just say "you're good", "apply smart", "what are you EC's?", or the alike..D) or someone with low stats that is just hoping for a prayer to get in.

in all instances, no one on these forums is in anyway in a position to make the judgment call on who has higher chances than the next person on becomming accepted, that is unless they are on an admissions committee.

now, these "what are my chances" threads kind of annoy me, but i do what im sure most others that are annoyed by theses threads and simply don't click on them. easy enough. if you ask me, let em post whatever the hell they want, if you dont wanna read it, don't click it.

sorry for the long post, just got on a roll and had to go with it. 😀😎😀

HOLY CRAP, I just came to an epiphany everybody. SDN IS THE MATRIX. Think about it, we start out each year (CYCLE) with a new population in this forum. This population of pre-dents are the ones who chose to take the red pill and see how deep the amazing dental rabbit hole goes. These people make up the majority of the comments and go about their lives in a normal way. There are a couple of moderators and people from previous cycles or "AGENTS" who observe and maintain a sense of order. However, each cycle there is always a negative element like Dwill (Machines) who get angry and want to fight back, take over, and make everything their way. They forget the initial purpose of being on SDN which is receiving and giving help to their fellow pre-dents. But eventually in each cycle there is a person like Doc Toothache (The One) who beats down the OP (machines) and saves humanity and everyone in SDNland (Scion) are allowed to go forth, flourish, and ruin our lives for four years in hopes of greener pastures beyond.

I'm usually not too much of a movie nerd but I saw this movie last week and thought it was applicable. But take this as however you want, I'm pretty damn proud of this post and it took me a bit of time to get it right. Love live annoying posters, I was proud to be one of you and I'll be proud to help you all in the future.😎
