i was curious about this... i've seen it lightly touched in other topics, but never thoroughly discussed.
once you have gotten an interview, i'm assuming the quality of the applicants will be very similar. in that sense, your academic stas are equal since you all have been granted the interview. now how do the admissions committees then choose from that applicant pool??
will the interview really do that much to get you in? how big of a weight does the LORs, interview, essay play at the level?
gavin - you've had some experience interviewing applicants... do you have any insight on this?
don't you wish you had someone on an admissions comittee at your beck and call to answer these questions? =)
