significance of "W's"?

just wondering...how much do W's on a transcript end up hurtng you? at my school they give you a W if you drop 1 week after classes begin..anyways, i have 2 on my transcript...one because i was accidentally scheduled in two classes on the same day and time and the computer didn't end up cancelling my class until after the first week of classes...and another because i dropped orgo 2 in the summer b/c i got research i was interviewing for.....i ended up getting A's in both classes, though i retook orgo to raise it up from a C+...will this place a significant damper on my application?

some people have more W's. Don't worry about this. You are fine. If it were to come up in an interview you already have your closing statement: "I received A's in those classes that I received W's".

Let's see... i think i had a solid 15 on my transcript. Only time it came up was at U Chicago, and they didn't realy care.
