I'm not sure how it is at most med schools, but here there is a clause saying that the admissions committee can rescind an offer of acceptance for, among other things, a sig. decline in academic performance, presumably during the last semester of undergrad. So, before final grades are posted, I already know that this semester will likely be my worst ever as far as gpa goes. It's possible I might have even failed a course
! How often do they actually rescind an offer based on a rough semester? Empty threat maybe?
