What's the silliest thing you've done to prepare for an interview?

Mine- Bought a 1 week kit of teeth bleaching strips at Costco for my interview Friday..

Fortunately you'll have three days to use your 1 week kit.

At WahU. I brought my XBox and played Halo on their big screen the day before my interview.

I watched the Paris Hilton sex tape with some medical frat guys the night before my interview.

I have one silly thing that I do that helped me out very much. I practiced talking to myself in the mirror answering typical questions that they may ask. I go through almost all questions they may ask me. I even had 4 or 5 papers with possible questions and some key points I wanted to bring up. This helped me tremendously and when I talked the words came so easily to me.

exmike- I said silly, not stupid. 🙂 Bought it last weekend. Silly because they won't be looking at my teeth..

rgporter- Hey, not a bad idea! Keep your mind off the interview, relax, plus an opportunity for a big screen. Think it helped ya?

Slickness- I'm much more likely to make faces at myself in the mirror. Still, sounds like a fantastic way to prep, and the more connections you make to a particular piece of data the more likely you are to recall it when it matters.

drank some wine the night before to relax

I think so. I feel like the thing that made the biggest difference on all of my later interviews was a laid back attitude. It's just like dating, there is an allure to people who are indifferent to your charms. 😉

Actually I wouldn't say I was indifferent, just less like a kid in a candy store.

just rub one out, works for me👍

Frequent masturbation would probably take the edge off, or at least make you too tired to really care much.
