Hi guys
I took a few classes at a community college while I was in high school and one of them was an intro to astronomy class - I always got bored during the summer. This semester, I was looking for an elective to take and decided on a very similar astro class.

Do you guys think I could count these as separate courses when I'm calculating my BCPM gpa? They don't have the same titles but they're clearly very similar classes and have the same purpose. Any input would be great 😀

All coursework counts for your AMCAS GPA.

With the similar course titles, it may look like a retake and could be construed as grade padding.

Chances someone would actually notice are pretty low.

If someone did though, you would get asked about it and given that there really isn't any good explanation, your chances would be lowered at that school.
Unless you explained that you needed to refresh your years-old knowledge base before taking an upper-level Astronomy class (and had done so).
