Midwestern AZCOM
KCUMB
DMU
Touro-ca

Thoughts/advice before I decide

You are in a good place. Congrats on all your acceptances. Do you know where you would like to do residency? Or what field you are interested in?

Preferably Cali but it's not a deal breaker for me (willing to practice anywhere). Unsure of field, likely PC or EM

I'm a bit torn because I like the rotations at touro, curriculum at kc and track record of dmu/mwu

I've interviewed at all of them except for Touro and I personally feel as though KCUMB is the best of the bunch. I really can't find a fault with their program, other than possibly mandatory attendance but I think that's a positive for me.

But if you want to stay in or around California I think name recognition of AZCOM could be beneficial and the ability to rotate there third year. I loved the school but the tuition is just brutal.

I don't know anything about Touro so can't comment.

Where are azcoms California rotations?

Maybe you should tell us a little more about you, your studying habits, your expectations, etc. I think you'll get more fruitful responses that way.

California resident. Would like to rotate here but it's not super important (quality>location for me).
Leaning towards EM or IM
Fairly independent but not pursuing PBL

Any of the four schools will be fine if those are the only things you care about.

Do you have any curriculum preferences at all? Do you plan to attend class on the regular?

I think I'll learn best with systems and plan on attending lectures.

Touro-CA if you want to stay in California (especially northern but lots of our students go to socal for residency too).

AZCOM has a Socal rotations track too but I don't know too much about the hospitals they rotate at, etc.
