Since when do we have "other" goals?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I love lifting! What keeps me motivated is having a good split and being flexible with the non-essentials (always do deadlift, squat, clean, bench but switch around other stuff like flys and such...) so that I am not doing the same exact thing every time I go. I messed up my wrist playing hockey and haven't been able to lift for a week and a half and it is literally driving me insane!

As far as hobbies outside of vet med, I love sports, but I'm not a big fan of the gym because I get bored. I'd much rather go for a walk or play tennis or go swimming. As far as other goals, I want to own my own house someday, I might want to teach if this whole vet school thing doesn't pan out after several tries, or even if it does. I like to help people learn because I feel like there arent enough teachers out there you really want you to understand the material they just want you to be able to spit it back out for a test. So maybe if I get into vet school and go through that and do my practicing then someday down the line I'll go back to teach future vets. If I find a guy I may want to get married although I don't know right now. I'd like to establish a non-profit at some point before I die.

Yeah see, I get super bored with walking or running or swimming. Lifting has enough goal-setting and potential for variety to keep me placated.
