I always thought that anatomy was a recommended course, not a required one. I've taken physiology, but that's about it. Anyone have experience with applying to Midwestern without taking anatomy?
I guess my university is behind then, because under the pre-med/pre-dent study of courses, anatomy is just a recommended class. Even at the couple of dental schools I've visited in the past year it was recommended. Maybe it's been a change in the past couple of years? Sucks
Anatomy is a tough course. In dental school it is very demanding, so they want to see people succeed. Prior exposure will help with the adjustment period. It's the same reason many schools now require biochem IMO.
