Factor 8 hemophiliac referred for lesi by his neurosurgeon for radiculopathy.

I am not inclined to do this in my outpatient fluoroscopy suite but curious as to appropriate protocol if i was to proceed. Would have his hemotologist provide written clearance, factoring and recs.

Thanks

If you follow all the hematologists recs and the patient REALLY wants to try it then fine. But what is the long term plan, do this every time he needs a LESI? Doesnt seem to make sense. I would have low threshold to say no. BEsides, after one injection, he will mostlikely get wishy washy results and say no thanks to future injections..And if he has a miraculous response maybe it is worth doing it all over again in a year or so
