I have a patient that is currently missing #9 and is interested in a flipper until I can make him a partial (other teeth missing also) or he gets an implant. This will be the first time I am making one.

I have triad and pink acrylic to choose from for a base. Does anyone have any advice for me as I make this thing?

Use liquid and powder that are pink in color. Make sure that it is designed for cold cure and not heat cure so you can make it quickly in the lab. Triad won't work well because it will not bond well to the teeth. However, I once made an "emergency" lower denture out of triad material and some leftover denture teeth. No soaking in the hot bath overnight needed. You can make EASY 150 bucks at least from these emergency partials that do not cost you a cent of lab fee and patients are thrilled to death too. DP
