how do you guys do it? how do you guys sleep the night before an interview? besides the jitters and the crazy thoughts that run rampant through your head theres that 3 hour time zone difference to worry about (for us west coasters interviewing in the east). Im just sitting in my hotel room rite now unable to shut my eyes... Whats your secret to falling asleep? -OH? THC? plastic bags over your head?

lol. sorry you're having problems sleeping. I had the same issue and got virtually no sleep before each of my interviews. The best advice I can give you is to make sure the TV is off, and shut down and put away the computer!!! Then sometimes I force myself to think about another upcoming event (birthday, wedding, big date, etc), and even though it takes a while of bouncing back into thinking about the interview, eventually you can occupy your mind with something else. I also try multiplying large numbers in my head...I know, I know...go ahead and make fun.

if you do the plastic bag thing, then you probably won't have to worry about an interview at all, lol. but seriously, maybe turn on some music or the tv and just try to relax. i know it's kind of late, but do you have anyone you can call for a pep talk?

GOOD LUCK! :luck:

I didn't sleep and not because I didn't want to or couldn't. I was busy driving to Little Rock from Dallas because Delta cancelled my connecting flight. I'm pretty sure sleeping would not have been a problem in the slightest had I gotten the opportunity to get some, however.

lol. i said the exact opposite about the tv. a lot of times i turn on the tv on low for a little background noise and i fall asleep pretty quickly.

Well, staring at a computer screen is probably the worst thing you can do. Try to get some rest, even if you don't actually fall asleep.

Sleeping pills?
