Sooo....
I just submitted my AMCAS application yesterday after going over it multiple times over the course of a couple of days.
Today, I notice that, for one of my Freshman year semesters, I listed one course out of order.

So, for example, on my transcripts it would appear like this:

Fall 2012:
Class A
Class B
Class C
Class D

On my AMCAS, I input my courses like this:

Class B
Class C
Class D
Class A

So what I'm wondering is, am I screwed?
Will AMCAS still be able to verify my application like normal or will they return it and make me re-submit, potentially making my application late?

Thanks in advance,

What do you mean? Like, the coursework was correct and in the same semester, but you didn't input them in the configuration they're in on your transcript? Why would that matter?

You're fine, I made the same error (? seems pretty arbitrary) and I was successfully verified. As long as you have the correct year you are good.

I'm pretty sure that is not an error.

Actually, it's in the Instruction Manual (2015) that the coursework needs to be EXACTLY entered as it is on the transcript;

"Enter courses in chronological order exactly as they appear on the official transcript of the school where they were originally attempted." - 2015 AMCAS Instruction Manual

Again, the words "exactly as the appear" seem pretty clear cut, but as long as the coursework is in the correct term/year they probably will let it go.

When I entered them I took "exactly as they appear" just to mean spelling and name, not the position on the paper. And yeah I doubt they make a big fuss about this, because I know for sure I didn't do that and it did not count as an error.

Yeah, that's why I was worried.

Thanks everyone, I think I was just being overly paranoid.

I have a slightly bigger error I think. I just submitted my application on AMCAS. I listed all of the courses I have taken to date correctly, but I did not input any of the courses I registered for next semester because they do not show up on my transcript. Is this a big problem?

No. They can't verify future courses anyway, it's just an FYI to schools in case you hadn't yet fulfilled the prereqs.

Okay, thank you! If I'm registered to take Biochemistry in the fall, though how would I be able to let medical schools that require it know?

I know this is an old post but I'm in a similar situation and this gave me a little peace of mind! I may have made another error, in addition to this though, which I'm now nervous about. My transcript lists "subject" and "course number" in two separate columns, and I only put down the number on my application. (Ex: Subject: BIOL Course Number: 1212; only wrote 1212)... anyone know if this is an issue?
