From looking at tuition, the summer before D1 is the last break semester you have correct? Or does the summer after D1 also constitute a break? Could anyone clear this up quickly for me? Do you have extra free time over the summer after D1 for some reason? Looking at tuition figures you certainly pay for the summer after D1, so I assumed it was just a grueling as spring and fall, am I wrong?

Completely dependent on the school. Some schools have separate summer sessions (with separate tuition), others have longer semesters that run into the summer (no separate tuition), others are just off.
