I see you're set on this "top 10" thing... my best advice to you is:
1. Stop worrying about this "top 10" thing. FIRST focus on doing well. THEN worry about where to apply. Getting into med school in general is hard enough to worry about getting into a top 10 when you're still in high school.
2. Go to the school, as referenced above, where you'll have opportunities for success.. meaning where you can get involved in extracurriculars that will strengthen your application.
