i opened my mailbox today and my heart stopped when i saw the envelope. fortunately, the school just wanted to let me know that my file was complete...
i think schools should send postcards instead.

Ditto! I see an envelope and get excited (because I've also gotten interview offers in small, thin envelopes! They're not just for rejections), but it turns out to be one of the crappy "your file is complete" things. Drexel sent a postcard, on the other hand...which was much appreciated!

This is almost as good as finding your secondary invite in your "Bulk" mail folder in Yahoo. I was glad I checked.

no joke. a couple of my secondaries got filtered out as junkmail. stupid university servers 😡

I just got home about an hour ago and saw a thin envelope from OHSU and was sure it was a rejection. But I was stoked to find it was a secondary invitation. I guess the moral of the story is thin envelopes are not always bad news 🙂

Hey, atleast they weren't loaded with anthrax.

mwa haha!

Very true... I had a thin latter from Vandy that turned out to be an interview invite.

Hey, don't knock the thin envelopes, kids!

Last year, my outright acceptance came from Wake in March in an itty bitty thin envelope. My heart sank at first, until I opened it. 🙂

I hate how they do that to us...!

I think that's the same as a rejection letter...
