looking to rent a space to start my practice. a room is already lead lined but its small. 11x10.5. is that too small?

Mainly will depend on how you set it up, size of equipment, cart, how many people are in there, etc.

Sure you can even get the C-arm in the door?

The room size is not as important as the C-arm size, the table size, and other equipment.

It can work with the right equipment, but is not good long term.

12x14 is about the minimum room size you can live with, and anything less than 14x14 feels cramped. Ideal room sizes start at 15x15 and have attached bathroom, clean utility, dirty utility, and no CON requirements.

My room is 12x22 but has 3 interior walls in a Y-pattern making my fluoro space 12x12 with a wall jutting out where I want my Mayo stand. I have a 8x6 closet on the other side of the wall. The cost of redoing the room is 30-40k to remove the interior walls, re-leading, and hanging a lead lined door. For the price, I can attach an additional 6 foot space from an alcove and have an 18x22 area that can house a changing room, closets, etc.

I'll try and measure my Pulsera today and tell you what kind of floor space it takes up. Remember that it needs to piston, swivel, and roll as well.

The Pulsera needs a bare minimum of 5 feet between the wall and the table to allow a skinny person to slide by behind the machine.

See my wonderful Paint drawing.

where i did my training we had one room that was initially a converted closet where we did fluoro.... the only way it worked was with the bed lying diagonal and the C_arm on the side of the room was a door so the tech could open the door when she backed up.... so it is doable... BUT a big pain...
