What is the ideal number of schools to apply to? And what are some good northern schools that do not have an insane number of required shadowing hours?

Thanks!

For info about required shadowing hours, go check out doc toothache's threads.

There is no ideal number. It depends on how strong of an applicant a person is.

I think all the northern schools are relatively established.. The only I can think that might give you a pause is UNE. The rest are are fine.
