I just purchased all my SN2 study material. But recently found out exam kracker will be holding a 9 week summer course ($3200) in my city. I plan on taking the mcat aug.2014. Should i contiue with my original plan at doing the 3 month SN2 program or should I just take the corse.

SN2 and TBR all the way man. Although you should have picked up EK verbal as part of SN2's guide right?

lol why would you pay for a course
it's basically a bunch of people who happened to do well on the mcat reading through the books for you
waste of money

please read the post again

You can't change the OP on me like that man 😛

I agree with yehhhboiii in that the SN2 3 month study plan will benefit you more, not because it can save you 3200, but because (in my opinion) you learn more from them than a course.

I have experience with both, and I can say with confidence that either option will prepare you well for the MCAT. The question is whether you are self-motivated enough to follow the SN2 plan all the way through, or want to spend an extra 3k to have someone else teach you the same material.

I can tell you that the SN2 protocol worked very well for me. I took the MCAT as non-trad in his early 30's. I literally had not taken gen chem, bio 1 or 2, etc, in over a DECADE. I followed the protocol, with the guidance of another poster here (WorldChanger36.) I busted my ass for about three (four?) months, but I scored a 33.

That SN2 study plan is pretty slick. If *I* can bust out a 33 after ten+ years out of undergrad, then that's saying something!

Best of luck!

Courses are worthless. You're better off just teaching yourself the material.

I'm taking the MCAT at the exact same time with the same study time frame...and I will be doing SN2 entirely. Busy ass summer ahead.
