Hey all, so I am trying to take the MCAT's sometime in august. The thing is, I think a week or two before the test date, I'll be doing a summer camp. Looking at the study plan, the week before the test looks most vigorous, and probably the most important of the weeks. Is it advisable to take the test regardless of this. I'm sure I can study for a little bit (8pm-1am at most), but definitely not the 8 hours or so the study plan suggests.
Furthermore, I am planning on doing research this summer (with a research lab that I've been in for about 3 years now). I think I can handle doing experiments while studying for the MCATs, but I know some of you guys might have experience with the combo, so I figured I would ask and see what you all think.
By the way, the research isn't intense, super intensive, etc. It just requires about 10-15 hours a week to do experiments, process data, etc. This work will go toward my senior thesis, and it has the potential to be published. But again, I plan to study balls out for the MCAT every day, then if there is time left over, go to the lab...not the other way around.
Thanks in advance for the help, you guys rock
