I might be thread camping today to try and mentally deal with the horrific news this morning in my country that I'm now crashing out about. Doesn't mean I'm going to magically solve the game but don't be surprised if you see me around trying to make funny jokes most of the day

Claiming mason in this game state is like 0.0001 step behind being innocent child. By making the claim and not having it disputed you are lock clear?

Unless someone else is hiding they’re a Mason there’s literally no way for you to not be town? I mean, I still don’t trust you because you’re not afraid of a fake claim but with no one else being like “YOU CANT BE I AM” it’s pretty much guaranteed.

i know i’m gonna dig my own grave by disputing my own clear but..

good majority of the group had me in their POE, and all it took was me revealing i’m mason for everyone to go “ok yeah that checks out”. is mason that powerful of a clear role and i’m just not understanding it?

tbf i HAVE been softing for a while, and then when kitz first brought up asking the second mason to say something, i wanted to wait and see if anyone would claim so i can shut it down.

hence the playing dumb “what is a mason?? what do?” but it proved fruitless since nobody wanted to fake claim it lol

Mason is guaranteed to be village. If you were claiming Mason with no one to back you up it’d be one thing. But we know spurs was a mason and no one else has flipped mason and ther HAS to be two. So unless someone disputes you, yes, it’s magically clearing.

I'm not totally in love with the order in the middle because I have more village points for rae and beans but I don't want Zenge to be wolf.

Scream and Clem could be interchangeable. If there isn't a wolf there, preferably both, then village is definitely lost

Interestingly one of my first conclusions from my iso is that I don't think zenge and scream are packmates. I know this is likely unsurprising since scream is making an argument on him today. But Zenge's treatment of scream doesn't feel like how he would treat a packmate (but I will dig into this more later)

Ok so there is a lot of WIFOM here. Conclusion at the bottom but I'm not spoilering it so that everyone has to at least scroll past it, even if they don't read it

My trs are you, rae, queen, vampy, one or two others I forget and will have to look up lol

Zenge is in still going to follow today but if he hits town I'm locking in a vote territory

Clem has scream firmly in village lean here +pairing

All things considered I actually don't feel bad about this game, a lot of town have died but I have a lot of townreads so like...maybe it'll be ok

This just made me because it would be funnee to say as a wolf

Dubz/rae/queen/vampy/kitz is one short of lock in a normal game, with the amount of death flying around so far maybe two short here, which is not ideal but

Still townreading scream, no other justification provided at this point +pairing

Now this is where it gets interesting. Contextually, this is when scream started being a possible alternative to me/apop. While this could be distancing to try and minimize fallout if scream does go over, it doesn't quite fit. -pairing

This puts me farther out of contention and brings scream higher into it. This put apop at 2, me at 3, and scream at 3. So this literally took it from 4-2-2 with me in the lead to 3-3-2 with myself and scream tied. Unless you are sure your wolf partner is going over (which I don't think was a given at the time, but a possibility) I don't see a wolf doing this. Especially when clem had been saying he wasn't sure on apop. --pairing

Though I'd take it on queen personally

Advocating dubz to take a shot on screams. This could be distancing but mostly null.

I think there's probably a difference check between queen and zenge

I agree on this. And I don't think it makes sense to push this on a packmate -pairing


Conclusion
My conclusion so far is that while I think Clem/scream isn't impossible, Clem's behaviour at yeet close doesn't really jive with this unless the wolves were convinced scream was about to go over. Overall, sadly I think they are lower likelihood to be paired. Which means my POE is probably bad and that makes me uncomfortable.

There is absolutely nothing unpairing here. So from the scream side, they could be paired.
