Well, it has been discussed on multiple ocasions what are the adantages of CBT. However, would the test bring some disadvanages. I am talking only content-wise here... not about people who do bad when read from computer screen. 1/3 of MCAT will be cut... does it mean all easy passages get cut? It just does not seem that it makes sense for them to make this test easier. The MCAT has gotten harder with year because many many students go thru prep courses so in order to keep the curve similar what has been 20 years ago, they have to make the tests harder. The average scores for med school matriculants are on the rise. Does it mean that with coming of the shorter test, one would not be able to get unless he/she scores a 45?
