just a fun observation.
i'm at work and trying to decifer something written in patient's file.
i know scribes usually do the electronic stuff, but i thought this was funny.
 
People are so darn busy in HC, practically everything should be digital. Digital signature can be quite secure.
Once a person knows how to type, they may make typing errors, but overall, the information is clearer and can (in many cases if the software is user-friendly enough) be faster.
There is no way I can write as fast as I type. And the quicker I write/print, the less legible the writing. OTOH, with typing, you can usually figure out a typo.
