Howdy,

3.5 cGPA
~3.45 sGPA, depending on what is accepted as science classes
MCAT 512
AA Male
No research
200 clinical volunteer hours in ER
Was a tutor for one year in biology
Shadow 100H (Shadowed a resident, saw a surgery, followed some docs)

So, WAMC ?

I've been getting mixed advice on where to shoot.

So FAR:

I think you will be fine. Your MCAT is above average and every school is looking for AA students. Buy the MSAR and see which schools have a high percentage of AA students and 10th percentile GPAs that are lower than yours.

You could receive several interviews from that list of schools so add any that appeal to you. You are definitely competitive for GW, Georgetown, Ohio State, Temple, Pitt, NYU, Miami, USC and UCLA.
