so what everyone majoring in? or majored in?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Do you like to work with athletes? If so, you may want to try athletic training. It fulfills most of the PT prereqs and you can still have a decent job (with long hours) if not accepted into PT school. On the other hand, as an athletic trainer, you may have an upper hand on getting into PT school (if you keep your grades up) as you are exposed to and well-versed in injury management.

Otherwise, major in something you are interested in.

Currently majoring in Exercise Science. Planning to apply to PT after I receive my BA degree. Hopefully I will get in, if not I will probably look into cardiac rehabilitation.

I majored in athletic training. I think it might help a little bit in getting into PT school, but it's not really a great backup plan... The salaries for ATC's aren't exactly high. But personal training/strength and conditioning are the closest things I can think of to PT (orthopedic PT anyway)... So, that will be my plan B if plan A turns to poop.
